Question 1 of 5

What are Rotterdam’s most incredible architecture icons?

The Wilhelminapier as a whole deserves a grand tour; for an architect(enthusiast) it’s like a candy store for a child – whether to your taste or not, all the buildings are designed by internationally renowned architects and are unique and remarkably interesting. The most magnificent on the pier, however is De Rotterdam (the largest building in the Netherlands!) by OMA, who are also responsible for the extraordinary design of the Kunsthal.

However, there are beautiful buildings everywhere in the city. I regularly fantasize about what it would be like to live in one of Rotterdam’s unique lofts; the Jobsveem warehouse (Mei Architects) in Delfshaven and the Haagse Veer Terrace Houses in the centre are my personal favourites.

What is there to see when I walk through the neighbourhood?
