Obviously, the tour starts at Rotterdam Central Station (by Bentham Crouwel & West8), which has star status in architecture land; what an icon! You really have to see, or rather visit, the Cube Houses – love it or hate it! In the Markthal, you can snack on tapas and try to peek inside one of the apartments through one of the many (roof) windows in the arch-shaped, multifunctional building. Finish your day in Delfshaven – a must-visit because of the historic windmill at the Voorhaven, followed by soul-soothing food from Le Souq.
