You have to come to Katendrecht for the route alone, via the Maastunnel or via – my favourite option – the Erasmus Bridge. Either way, you defy the Maas River, which is an eye-catcher in itself. When you enter Katendrecht, you are welcomed by the industrial vibes of attention-grabbers with a historical story, such as the old freight train track, the Fenix ​​and the Codrico building, where grain used to be stored. What you find next makes the journey more than worthwhile; quite unexpectedly, the beautiful ss Rotterdam is moored here. Enjoy lunch, a drink and a paddle in the pool on the deck. Cool manager too!
