Just cycling or walking is fun in this district. It’s an old harbour area that has been transformed into a hip living-working area and also the place where the fair is held. The waves of the river Maas and the interesting mix of the old harbour atmosphere and new architecture make it special. Get a bitterbal and a speciality beer at Verhip, a pizza at Trattoria Sophia or dinner at Eaux Posse, a waterside restaurant run by the lovely Rotterdammer Paul Posse. You can also arrive and depart by water taxi.
